About LAI

I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the Drone Center at the University of Southern Denmark, working on computer vision and AI systems for real-world applications.

I did my PhD at the SDU Robotics Group, focusing on computer vision. After that, I spent time in industry working on a range of 2D and 3D vision problems — from building models to making them actually work in practice.

When I came back to academia, I noticed something frustrating: a lot of the basic tooling for training and deploying vision models is still either too complex, too fragmented, or dependent on cloud services. There aren’t many simple, open-source, self-hosted tools that let you go from data to a working model quickly.

So I started building one.

This project is still a work in progress, and there’s a lot to improve. The goal is to keep it simple, practical, and useful — something that actually speeds up everyday workflows.
